I started my journey with watercolors in the fall of 2019 after retiring from a career in health care. I've been taking classes from two incredibly skilled artists Winnie Givot and Ian Factor. I learn so much every day from my classmates and watercolor artist friends. I'm so fortunate to have this time to immerse myself in the arts, meet amazing people and share my creations.
Here are my first two watercolors that I've painted outside of classes. I look forward to adding many more!

I'm excited to share that this watercolor was selected into the Watercolor Society of Oregon's spring 2020 exhibition and then was chosen as one of the 20 award winners!! So incredibly exciting!! Also won the Oregon Society of Arts "Peoples Choice" Award in the 2021 Water Media Show.
